Juan B . Torres, CEO. Mr. Torres has an extensive history with SER Child Development Center, first as a board member and now as the President and CEO. He has business, financial, technology, and nonprofit expertise—and will be responsible for fiscal oversight of the PreK Parents as Partners program kamagrab soft. Mr . Torres is dedicated to serving the Hispanic community and is involved with other Latino organizations nationally that serve economically disadvantaged minority communities synthroid.
Carol Johnson-Gerendas, Ph.D., Director Community Partnerships and Programs. Dr. Johnson-Gerendas assists with recruitment, enrollment, and evaluation, as well as fund development. Dr. Johnson-Gerendas has over 25 years of experience in program development and management and brings many years of experience in developing innovative programs related to education, technology, and social service. Her expertise is designing high-impact, leading-edge programs for high-risk early education, charter and alternative school students, as well as adult training environments. She holds a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and an M.A. in English from Texas Women’s University, and consults nationally with non-profit Hispanic serving programs. Dr. Johnson-Gerendas was Director of National Program Development for SER National from 1995-2000. Dr. Johnson-Gerendas has over 12 years of experience working with the Hispanic community nationally and locally, and is dedicated to helping those with low economic status gain access to the high-quality programs and services they most certainly need.
Pat Clark, Center Manager. Ms. Clark is fully bilingual and has 19 years experience in teaching and managing early education and care centers using the Montessori approach. Ms. Clark has worked with families, parents, and children ensuring successful transitions from early education to elementary education for many years using a variety of activities and curriculum.
Abdin Noboa-Rios, Ph.D., Evaluation Consultant. A native of Puerto Rico, Dr. Noboa-Rios was raised in Bronx, New York and Chicago, Illinois. He has been in the field of research and social action programs for over 31 years, with principal concentration in the areas of education and psychology. His educational background includes six earned degrees from various universities such as the University of California at Berkeley and Harvard University. Among his academic achievements, he has completed two post-doctoral interns, including a summer institute on advanced survey research methods from the Institute for Social Research, University of Michigan. Dr. Noboa-Rios is author of over 40 articles, three training manuals, five monographs, one book and editor of two additional book-length publications in the social sciences. He conducts numerous workshops on diversity and evaluation in the U.S. and abroad (in both English and Spanish) and has been on the editorial board of three national journals, including one each on cultural studies, research and psychology. Trained as a teacher and a clinician, Dr. Noboa-Rios is also well versed in the intricacies of applied research, with a substantial knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methods. He has conducted over 16 national case studies, three major ethnographic studies, managed three extensive surveys (one international) and designed many protocols and instruments (including one on measuring the level of organizational cultural competence, 1999).
Sue Johnson-Dietz, M.S., Contractor. Ms. Dietz is the owner and sole proprietor of Essential Grants Services, Plano, Texas 75093. She holds a Master of Science degree from Baylor University, with specific training in applied statistics. An experienced program evaluator, Ms. Dietz recently conducted a five-state program evaluation for the U. S. Department of Labor’s faith-based initiative. That evaluation pertained to job training of hardest-to-serve individuals at program sites in five Southwest states. SCDC contracts with Ms. Dietz to perform CDBG grant program formal evaluations.
