Teacher Training

Teacher Education is a two-component program. In conjunction with Eastfield College, we provide classes leading to Child Development Associate degree lioresal. Students can earn up to 11 credit hours and classes are provided in Spanish . We also offer internships that provide hands-on training and give participants valuable work experience in early childhood education and childcare cialis soft. One hundred percent of the students enrolled in classes passed the coursework and those in internships demonstrated competency in childcare provision .

Training & Apprenticeship Program (SER TAP)
TAP is an accelerated Child Development Associate (CDA) program for under-skilled low to moderate income Hispanic women. Women participants are Spanish speakers who are prevented fromtaking regular college courses because of language barriers. TAP teachers all classes in Spanish and includes an English as a Second Language component to help participants build English Language Skills.
Participants attend classes in child development and earn 11 credits leading to their Associate’s degree in Child Development. Participants work numerous Apprenticeship hours in licensed childcare facilities to fulfill licensing requirements. Graduates are equipped to work in the high-demand childcare industry.
